Dear Crystal, 
I know that this condolence letter comes late but I have been thinking a lot about you lately and decided to do a search on the Internet for any possible ways to contact you. Unfortunately this is how I came across your mother's obituary. I am in tears as I write this note to you as I know what a wonderful mother and person she always was. I have so many fond memories of her that I will cherish in my heart forever. I wish that you would have gotten ahold of me but like me you probably lost my telephone number. You and your sisters as well as Mike & your children will be in my thoughts and prayers and I hope that your heart is healing with the strength of your faith,family and friends. I would love to talk to you very soon. I found a number that I am hoping is your most recent one and will call you as soon as possible and please forgive me for not knowing of your moms passing, I have not read the paper or watched television in the past few years and am not in touch with anyone from the east side at this time. I am living in Portage presently. Again please accept my condolences I am truly saddened by this news. I will always love you like a sister as well as best friend.

Just want to say how sorry my wife Ann & I for your loss..Judy and Hank were friends who visited me every Wednesday night when I played the banjo at Riverside Resort in Homosassa, Florida.They surely enjoyed the music and Judy always had a smile on here face.She will be surely missed..Our prayers to you and your family.

We were very sorry to hear of Judy's death. The last years were not the best for her and all of her family. Don and I met each other and subsequently married because of Judy and Hank. We all belonged to the same bereavement group at St Thomas. Judy and Hank thought it was their duty to bring couples together and were very successful. Dear Crystal, Cyndi and Cheryl,

Your Mom's long and courageous journey came to a peaceful end this week as the Lord called her home, away from any more pain, fear and suffering.
 
And while the joy in Heaven is great, those of you here on earth who had the privilege of having her in your lives every day, especially as a Mother or Grandmother, now go on with a pain of her loss in your hearts.  Even when we know it is time for them to leave us, and when we know with confidence they are in a place we all long for, we are never quite ready to say good-bye to those we love.  I hope as you deal with the sadness in your hearts, that you also know how your love and care made her last months on earth so worth living.  You will always look back knowing you were there for her in every way possible.

Your Mom was a special lady who always found joy in the things around her and I know she will be missed.  Our prayers are with you all.

Your mother was such a bright and wonderful person.  My late husband,Richard, was a dear friend of Gene's and Judi's.  I am so sorry but I will be unable to attend her services since I am out of town.  Know that she lived her life to the fullest and was very happy.  Her spirit lives on in her family.  If I can offer a prayer: "The light of God surrounds us; The love of God enfolds us; The power of God protects us; The presence of God watches over us.  Wherever we are, God is!"
