Karl was born March 23. 1923 in Germany, Karl is survived by his wife of 67 years Eleanor, loving father of Sandy (Gordon) Yerke of Royal Oak, Michigan and Larry (Lora) Schmid of Warren, Michigan. Devoted grandfather of Heather Yerke, Michael Yerke and Melody (Donald) Setzler. Great grandfather of Brianna and Claire Steiner and Eleanora Setzler, brother of Herb (Carolyn) Schmid and Elfrieda (The late Jerry) Schienle.Visitation Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Madison Heights, Michigan 48071.
