Kelly Woolsey, age 55, passed away at Royal Oak Beaumont on Sunday June 29, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Family and friends surrounded her. Kelly was born in Pontiac, MI on September 4, 1969 to Dave and Annie (Adrian) Wilson.
Kelly loved life, family, and friends. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration. She recently started doing Bonsai Trees and was passionate about it and was starting a business doing that. Her happy places were Anna Maria Island, Florida and her parents place also known as "Sugar Bear Lodge" up in Ocqueoc, Michigan. Kelly married John Woolsey in July 2022. She is survived by her husband John; parents, Dave and Annie; brother, Mike; nephew, Garrett; nieces: Grace and Gretchen, and stepkids: Nick, Jessica, and Allison, Mother-in-law, Jonnie and Sister-in-law, Tracey, Niece Rebecca, and Grandniece, Danielle.
The family will greet guests from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Rd., Madison Heights, Michigan. A Celebration of Kelly's life will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, July 9 at the above location. Visitation from 9:30 am until the time of service. Interment following at Roseland Park Cemetery at 12:00PM. Immediatly following the burial, the family will invite everyone to lunch at the Gazebo, located at 13 Mile and Mound Rd.
