Lottie was a devout Catholic woman whose faith was the foundation of her life. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Apostles and, more recently, of St. René Goupil Catholic Church, where she remained actively involved in her faith community.
One of Lottie's greatest joys was visiting casinos across Michigan. Whether it was the thrill of the game or the fun of the adventure, she always looked forward to her next outing. She especially loved traveling to Las Vegas with her late husband, making cherished memories with each trip.
Lottie was a beloved wife to the late Marian Kobus for 39 years before his passing in 1993; loving mother to Michael M. (Karen) Kobus and Annette (the late Ronald) Tash: cherished grandmother to Kelly (Michael) Tierney and great-grandmother to Eric and Brett; dearest sister to Leonard (Diane), Richard, the late Jane, the late Sr. M. Joanette, the late Joseph (Pauline), the late Mitchell (Alfreda) and the late Edward, as well as being a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was also adored by her grandpup, Oakley, and her late grandpup Charlie.
