Louise "Anita" Barrett

Louise "Anita" Barrett age 91, passed away on Saturday February 1, 2020. Anita was born April 21, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. Beloved wife of the late Rudolph Schurg, the late Richard Williams and the late Thomas Barrett.

Dear mother of Lawrence (Elizabeth) Schurg, Gerhard (Penny) Schurg, Cynthia (John) Lockman Jr. Loving grandmother of Eleven, great grandmother of Forty-Two, great great grandmother of Eighteen. Sister In-law of Annie Waddell.

Anita was a volunteer at, Boys & Girls Club Royal Oak, Mi., She was also Girl Scout Troop Volunteer, Anita was also a volunteer at Scheurer Hospital - Pigeon, MI., and a choir member at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Pigeon, MI. Anita was also a member of the Clawson-Troy L'Kette.

Visitation will be held Wednesday February 5, 2020 from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service Wednesday 7:00 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Road Madison Heights, MI. 48071. In state Thursday 9:30 a.m. until time of mass 10:00 a.m. St. Vincent Ferrer Church 28253 Herbert St. Madison Heights, MI. 48071.

Anita was part of our “Saturday-after-4:00 Mass-Seniors dinner” group. Always had lots of laughs ....she loved her white wine and shrimp. We loved her smiles and laughs. May God Bless her and May she Rest In Peace.
