Jean was a wonderful person, great stepparent, with a sense of humor and could be daring at times. She was born July 24, 1925, in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada but grew up in Hamilton, Ontario. As a naturalized US Citizen, she enjoyed her retirement from the Michigan Bell Telephone Company. As a creature of habit, she had many passions: her church and its activities; her pets, all dogs (Ikie, Freckles and Pepper, Peanuts, Samantha (Sammy) & Sadie); travel (mostly cruising or jaunts to Florida); local dining (regular for lunch, dinner and source for their decorations); member of Telephone Pioneers of America; supportive AA spouse; all where she nurtured many relationships. She loved to play the organ and her work in porcelain, paintings and flower arranging are evidence of her many other artistic skills.
