Marjorie Ann Griffin, 93, passed away March 12, 2016, devoted to her family, friends, and her beloved Detroit Tigers. A “Gma” to a generation of grandchildren who adored her. She was preceded in death by husband Joseph T. Griffin. Loving mother to, the late Linda (Timothy) Markoff, Joan (Eric) Westlund, Joseph “Ted” (Sheila) Griffin II, Patricia (Nino) Sirianni, grandmother to, Peter (Katrina), Kristin, Justin (Elizabeth), Jade (Jason), Hallie (AJ), Kelli (fiancé Steven), Jordan, Christina; great-grandmother to, Lucas, Griffin, Kinsley; and sister to, the late Howard (the late Margaret) Knope, Phyllis (Robert) Grant, and William (Peggy) Reynolds. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Goodfellows of Detroit. Visitation, Tuesday, March 15, from 2-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre, Madison Heights. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, March 16, 10:00 a.m. (instate 9:30 a.m.) at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 1087 E Gardenia Ave, Madison Heights.
