I'm one of Mark's many cousins.  I just watched Mark's memorial service.  I remember the little boy in his pictures growing up.  Thank you for including the family photos - especially of his mom  & dad and Grandma Lawson.  I am so sorry for your loss, sorry that we keep in touch only at times like these, yet so grateful that he knew Jesus and had a loving church.  I will be praying for you, Karen, and all of the family.  God is good.  Looking forward to meeting him.

Many years ago he asked me if he could marry my mother? My answer was I would have no other man marry my mother. Later that day my Mom called me and said "Mark just asked me to marry him"


You guys were in the parking lot  - you guys were greeters walking into the auditorium - you guys collected offering - you guys were at the café - and so much more... gardening, cooking, grilling - and most importantly eating.  We got up to so many antics and shenanigans serving together and having fun outside of church together.  I don’t remember when I met you guys it just seems like we’ve known each other forever.  My years serving at Paradox are some of the most cherished memories of my whole entire life and it’s because of people like Mark and Karen Lawson.  Thank you for the contribution to the quality of my life.  Mark was silly and fun and down to earth and helpful and caring, and friendly and nice - exactly the person to be out front and serving along side of on the frontline.  We love you and miss you Mark!!!  Looking forward to seeing you again!!!

I consider myself beyond blessed to have been lucky enough to get to know you both, even more so getting to spend those weekends with all of you. My thoughts, prayers and love go out to all of you, and if there is ANYTHING I can do, please don’t hesitate to ask. Love you all so so much

Karen we are so sorry for your loss. Lilly loved serving beside you both in the cafe. I love serving along side of both of you at Paradox. Mark was so funny and a bright light. We have many wonderful memories of both Mark & Karen at Paradox Church! They were truly such an amazing couple to see and be around, so fun, upbeat, and always willing to help and serve the Lord and others. If they weren't helping one ministry they were helping another! We will miss seeing his bright smile and hearing his laughter and jokes, but know we will get to enjoy many more moments with him again one day.
