Mary E. Helms age 78, passed away April 24th, 2016 at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. Mary is survived by her husband of fifty years Jim and beloved daughter in-law Helene. In a horrible twist of events Mary was closely followed in death by her only child Mark. Mary was born May 12th, 1938 in Cadillac, Michigan, Mary relocated to Madison Heights, Michigan forty-five years ago where she was active in the community, serving as a member of the Madison Heights F.O.E. Auxiliary along with many friends from the Madison Heights V.F.W. Mary retired in 1993 from General Motors after thirty years of service. The family will receive friends to celebrate Mary's life Monday May 23rd, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Madison Heights, Michigan 48071.
