Michael, My dearest brother.  It is still so hard to comprehend that you are gone. The loss in our lives is immeasurable.  I know that you rest safe in the arms of God and that we all will see you again.  Keep smiling dear brother for it is your smile that we all keep in our minds and your kindness that we all keep in our hearts.  I will forever love you, I will forever hold you dear. This is true in both life and death. There are days I simply talk to you. There are days I give into the sadness of never being able to hear your voice, especially your laughter. There are days I am comforted in the knowledge that we are connected through our faith and our souls as brother and sister.

I still miss you every day Uncle Mike!  My life, and my son's life, will never be the same without you.  Please watch over Lincoln as he grows up and help guide him through his journey. I know you're looking down on us and I hope I'm making you proud.  I love you so much!

I just viewed the Corvette Museum special on TV, and Michael's name was shown at the end. I learned that Mike was an integral part of keeping special GM vehicles for many events like new. I'm glad that I stumbled upon this page, as I read many loving tributes. After reading these posts, it's clear to me that his legacy lies not only with the cars under his care, but with the profound impact he left with his many friends and family.  My condolences on your loss.

The world, and especially the "Corvette World" won't be the same without you. RIP my friend.

I met Mike many years ago at Corvettes @ Carlisle when he was there displaying many of the beautiful Corvette babies that he cared for.  We chatted and he realized just how much of a Corvette nut I was.  He was kind enough to let me see some of the cars he cared for up close. Of course, this thrilled me to no end.  Mike was such a kind spirit and had a kind soul.  

With Corvettes @ Carlisle coming up at the end of August, I searched the web to see if by chance he would be there with any of the cars.  I had hoped to say hello.  While searching, I stumbled on his obituary.  I am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing, and at such a young age.  

I am truly sorry for your loss and for the sadness you are experiencing. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you.

Mike was a very special person to my family.  He was the brother that my son never had and I thought of him as a wonderful second son.  Corvettes brought all of us together, but friendship was the guiding reason.  We will miss him .

It is a comfort to know that Michael and Fred are together. I love them both.

As Mike's parents, we wish to share that Mike's final resting place can be found at the SW edge of Section Q  in Oakview Cemetery, 1032 N. Main Street, Royal Oak, Michigan 48067.   From the gate, follow the road that veers to the left of the pond continuing straight toward the back fence.  Section Q is the last section on your right.  Just before Section Q you will see a small triangular grassy island, its point facing toward you.  If you circle that little triangle to park between its flat side and Section Q, you are parking next to The Erdodi Family Plot. We pray that your visits bring you the comfort you seek.

I am Michaels sister Jeannine and we are all still grieving so much for our beloved brother.  We find comfort in all of the love that has been extended to us by so many of the people that truly loved Michael. A small comfort we have in knowing that Michael is in heaven with his and Cheryl's beloved pet Fred. To know that they are together once again brings joy to our hearts.  Michael is resting in peace in the arms of God.  I love him and miss him.

Today I heard that Michael had passed. I am so saddened by this i do not even have words. I can see his smile when I think of him. I was blessed to have him in my life. My thoughts and prayers to him and his family. I am so shocked by this.

I am so saddened to hear of Mike's passing.  I went to grade school and Junior High with him and have many happy memories of him.  I always admired his kindness and sense of fun!  I will be praying for his family.  May God give them comfort during this time of great sorrow.

Mike took my 56 Cadillac  for a cruise around the tech center last fall and we talked about old cars. Mike is a classic, guys like him will never go out of style.  I wish his family the best, he was a great person. Wish I could have kept getting to know him.

Mike, you were in ALL of the BEST places in the WORLD to see BEAUTIFUL and FUTURISTIC cars displayed and driven. To the smitten envious longing of others (including myself) your job was a dream. Indeed, it was, and you LIVED. THE. DREAM. Knowing the highs can only be appreciated by slogging through a fair share of lows, your job had unsung toils attached to it, moments and at times seemingly endless strings of challenges and setbacks, occasions that were "par for the course" when components (from seatbelts and window-switches to engines) of one-off vehicles wore tired and torn and needed rebuilding, replacement or even re-creation. YOU were THE MAN. Now that your sometimes smarky and indignatious voice is no longer heard, and your smile no longer seen through our hallways of GM Design, WHO will keep these wheels turning? Of all of the times we wished we had recorded your words (you gotta push that button there while pulling this lever here, in order to get her started...and that's only if she wants to go) now we all wish we could have a "do-over", just another moment with our friend before you left us. Godspeed Mike, may our memories and your stories of these beloved automobiles, living pieces of our optimistic future, forever carry your smile and your spirit. I will always remember YOU as the ONLY person behind the wheel of our glorious past, from the 1938 Y-job to today's Chaparral. And literally EVERYTHING in-between. Our history, preserved for all to see, feel, touch and even smell (yea, you let many of us EXPERIENCE those precious cars by inviting us to come along shotgun). We will miss you Mike, but I believe I speak for many, especially in our GM Design family,when I say I will ALWAYS remember you as THE MAN BEHIND THE WHEEL  of our most precious treasures of days gone by, as well as the showcars and prototypes of the future of today. See you on the highway again someday, my friend.

My condolences to all of Mike's Family.  I just heard about his passing, would have been there in person if I knew sooner, again, it is a shock, he will be missed dearly, he was a great friend and student.

In my life since childhood,  or maybe even birth. Mike Dennis and I have been the best of friends. Grade School to High school to standing up in each others wedding .The one constant thing we had was each other.  Our life's so intertwined in all  the greatest events that friends could share. We share so many laughs, lumps and beers. Dennis and I, and our families will truly miss you.

We weren't in the same circle of friends of school but I always had good conversations with Mike from time to time.  Shortly after our five year reunion, I drove him home and we had a long talk about his job.  I'm glad I knew him.

My heart is breaking....I loved how you always called me cuz....forever in my heart cuz..... RIP.......

Mike, I am blessed to have known you and so shocked and saddened of this news.

Mike was our neighbor on Campbell Street in Warren for several years. We became good friends after he married Shari and we spent many hours talking about everything from religion to politics. He was a man of conviction and lived his faith by helping anyone he could whenever he could. He was always ready with his hospitality when we came over. May God comfort his family and may he rest in peace.

We are so saddened by the news of Michaels passing. I hope the Family is able to find some peace. Our thoughts and Prayers to all of you!  Michael was a ray of sunshine and was always a kind Person. He will be so missed!
