Nancy and her husband are two of the loveliest people I have ever met. It was a privilege to get to know them both. She always had such a warm and giving spirit. They frequently came to the office with blankets for staff as well as food. She made a blanket for my daughter and myself, which we will treasure always. It was a pleasure to see them during our visits. They invested in the people around them and they quickly felt like part of the family. They cherished their children and grandchildren and would speak of them often. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to know them both.

My sweet Nancy. Your beautiful soul and smile lit up the room and your kindness and generosity amazed me. I truly cherished the time that I was able to spend with you and I am grateful that I was able to care for you. I will carry these memories with me always. You are a true warrior, my friend! I love you and will miss you dearly. Until we meet again...

You'll always be my girl!

I am saddened to hear the passing of my friend and former neighbor of more than 20 years, Nancy Matthews. She was a welcomed breath of fresh air and her beautiful smile lit up any room. I remember that she and her beloved husband Dave loved gardening and as a first time home owner, provided hand-on advice and experience in home maintenance and home beatification.
Personally, I am forever indebted to Nancy for her keen Arts and Crafts ability. As a retirement gift, she and Dave presented me with beautiful scrapbook which I shall forever treasure. These lasting memories made special by the QUEEN OF SCAPBOOKS,,Nancy Matthews.
My heart and condolences go out to Dave and the rest of of the family. She will be sorely missed. May she rest in peace.
Love, Scotty

I am forever grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing Nancy and Dave as neighbours and friends. Nancy will forever be in the memories of myself, daughter and granddaughter. Her generous spirit will be a fond memory for me forever, as well as all the help she gave me on my scrapbook project. My granddaughter is one of the many to have been blessed with a Nancy blanket, one that she will treasure forever. Dave, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers, always know you're never alone.

I have so many great memories of this lovely soul! Her kindness and generosity was beautiful! It was an honor to be able to share this part of life with Nancy and Dave. I always looked forward to days I would be able to see her. And I loved hearing all the great Disney stories, I could then go on and share with my own kids and family! I appreciated the care she and Dave showed to everyone. Her smile touched my heart, and made me smile too! She has made and impact in the world, and her spirit will carry on through the love she showed to others. I'm so grateful to have known Nancy. Please know, I am sending love and healing to Dave and all of the family.

I too was a honored recipient of a treasured blanket, hand made by Nancy. That blanket not only made me feel very welcome and loved, it kept us warm to carry on, (at least through half time), on the chilly Friday nights. Her bright smile and fun spirit will be forever missed.
