Phyllis Marie Cottrell was a devoted wife of 69 years and a loving mother of six children. She lived a full life centered around her family and her Christian faith. Phyllis shared her strength, fun loving spirit, and unconditional love with all those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be forever loved and remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Cottrell; her brother Gordon Thivierge of Wisconsin; her children, Tom (Lisa), Renee (Linda), Bill (Diane), Steve (Stacey) Rob, and Lisa (Tim); nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, September 11th, 2026, at 9:30 am until the time of the Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 28353 Herbert Street, Madison Heights, MI 48071. A lunch will be held after mass.
