Romona Marie McNally

Romona Marie McNally age 79, passed away Friday July 8th, 2016. Daughter of the late Augustine D. and the late Mary M. (Lijewski) McNally. Beloved sister of Mary A. (Mitchell H.) Berger, Richard J. (Lorraine) McNally and Eugene M. (Partner Charlotte Holland) McNally. Romona is the beloved aunt of ten nieces and nephews, sixteen great nieces and nephews and one great great niece. Romona was a longtime member of St. Vincent Ferrer Church - Madison Heights, Michigan, a member of the Red Hats Club, Serra Club of Detroit - Oakland, she was also a member of the Y.M.C.A., an avid walker, loved traveling. Romona was a very loving and giving person, friends referred to Romona as a third grandma. One of Romana's sayings was "Pray, Hope and Don't Worry".

A memorial gathering for Romona will be held Friday July 15th, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a scripture service Friday 7:00 P.M. Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Road Madison Heights, Michigan 48071. Family will receive friends Saturday 10:30 a.m. until time of memorial mass 11:00 a.m. St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Madison Heights, Michigan. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Vincent Ferrer Church or the American Cancer Society.
