Today would have been your 88th birthday and if you were here, we would have celebrated your birthday out by the pool. Cody is growing so quickly. He changes by the day. I remember so many of your birthdays were celebrated in my backyard. Labor Day weekend and your birthday were one. We had so many fun times in the pool. I was just looking at one of your birthday videos where you some how convinced mom to get into the pool. You tortured her with the water, looked the other way and  denied that you splashed her. You always had that mischievous streak and that is one of the characteristics that made you so special. I love you and miss you.❤️‍🩹

It’s been two years and things are just not the same since you left. I’ll always cherish wonderful memories with you. To name just a few, I’ll never forget calling your name from the stairs to wake you up every morning, watching Jersey Shore at the Florida condo while Grandma protested in the other room, and you letting me try my first sip of beer when no one was looking.  You were the perfect example of a good man, husband, dad, friend, and grandpa. I’ve always been proud to be your granddaughter and I miss you everyday. Don’t worry, we are taking good care of Grams- we know she meant the world to you. Take it easy up there. I love you forever. 

My dad was a great father.  I miss talking to him and getting his advise.  He was always loving and caring.  Always ready to help out.  I miss the annual trip to Houghton lake and watching him tell stories to his friends around the camp fire.   He loved to tell funny stories.    I miss him dearly.  I love  you dad. 

Ron thru the year I have thoughts about all my friends in my life & you always come into my mind. I wish you were here yet because I'm sure we would see each other either at a breakfast with all our co- workers or maybe having a beer or two somewhere.  Don't forget to put a good word in for me up there Ron, miss you buddy.

You & I shared so many good times on & off the job. when we worked together we had fun & when we bowled, played baseball, volleyball, whatever we did there was never a & cross word between us. Ron I've known you & your family for many years. There are so many memories, all good but not enough space to write about them. To mention a few of the good times we had working together since 1955. We had our fun times bowling, playing baseball, volleyball, working in the manholes together sharing a few beers, in fact quite a few beers together. Having fun times with our wives & families & all of our other friends. I'll never forget the weekend up north at my parents place.  I'll never forget you, your family & everything we shared thru our years of friendship.
