Sam E. Leftwich age 92, a long time resident of Madison Heights, died on Friday January 7, 2011 at St. John Macomb Oakland Hospital Madison Heights. Sam was born October 15, 1918 in Buffalo Valley, Tennessee. Sam is survived by his wife Frances, his children Glenn Leftwich of Madison Heights, Michigan and Kathryn Leftwich of Naples, Florida. Sam also is survived by 2 nephews and 1 niece, her was predeceased by his brother the Mack Leftwich and his sisters the that Bertie Blair and the late Essie Bandy. Sam is a veteran of WW 11 and retired from Ford Motor Co. Visitation and funeral services will be held at Crestlawn Funeral Home 800 W. Jackson Rd. Cookeville, Tennessee.
