John and Lauren, I am so sorry for the loss of Sandy.  I know how much she loved you all and how her face would light up talking about Musa.  Sandy will be missed by all who knew her.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Royal Oak clients did sidewalk art of things Sandy would like.

Sandy was our home Manager at Special Tree Royal Oak during a turbulent time in a lot of our lives. She had a great ability remain calm through chaos and provide guiding light to all of us young fellas working and living there. 

She spoke of her husband and daughter so often you felt their house was your house. She showed the same protection and dedication she had for them for the people she served and managed.

I also remember her telling me about her career path in Social Work before landing at Special Tree. She was not only gifted naturally but developed competencies through tough experiences you would not expect from her sweet, Indiana character. 

She will be missed. Thank you for looking after us.  

I knew her through the group home at special tree she truly made me feel like family sending hugs and happy thoughts your way she helped shape the man I became over my high school years such a pure soul will be missed but remembered so much more

She talked so much about her love for John, Lauren and Musa  We will miss her presence among our manager group and we will keep her very close to our hearts.
