Suzanne Leich, age 73, of Warren, MI, died on July 15, 2025, at her home. She was born on December 12, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan to Clifford and Anna (Huffer) Parrott. At a young age while working at Hallmark Factory she met Randy the man whom she would share her life with. They married at St. Clement Church in Centerline in 1970. One year later they would welcome their first daughter. The second daughter would join to make the family complete in 1973. Suzanne married young to begin her family, and she remained a homemaker for many years. Later in life she worked as a banquet server at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. She shared many fond memories of those years with everyone she knew and made many friends. Suzanne was very proud of her grandchildren and doted upon them. She also loved to throw a party. Whether it was a decked-out Christmas, a poker night on New Years Eve or just because, she lived to party and play cards. Her other joy in life was shopping and she did this to the fullest as well. Trips to Las Vegas were enjoyed with family and friends throughout the years. She also enjoyed spending time in Port Austin and Caseville with her family and going to the beach. Her family meant the world to her.
After losing her husband in 2019 her life got harder, and she began to unravel. Years of hardship both physically and mentally played a toll in the end. She did try very hard to be independent and push through, but in the end it was too difficult for her. Suzanne completed suicide at her home with her longtime friend.
She is survived by her daughters, Anna Koki of Warren, MI, and Jacqueline (Paul) Dalzell of Romulus, MI, her grandchildren, Jack Koki, Derek Koki, and Luke Koki all of Warren, Michigan, Gabrielle (Eric Brown) McCann of Ypsilanti, MI, and Grant McCann stationed in Germany serving in the United States Air Force, Anna McCann of Romulus, MI, Joseph (Nicole) Dalzell of Dearborn, MI, and Roger Dalzell of Taylor, MI, and her great-granddaughter, Elsie Jane Brown of Ypsilanti, MI, her niece Kimberly Hafele, of Cincinnati, Ohio, her nephew Bob (Melissa) Parrott of Chesterfield, MI, nephew David (Jill) Clark of Bruce, MI, her good friends, Nancy Brault, JoAnn Sikora, Kim Parker, Sylvia Snyder, her cousins Diane (Dale) Mabry and Sue Ellen (Danny) McCormick both of Tennessee, her Aunt Jean Billingsley in Arlington, VA, lifelong friend, Sylvia Schneider of South Carolina, and Vicky Janisse of Sterling Heights, MI, as well as many other friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
