Tennille was the heart and strength of her family- the workhorse and the breadwinner, the brain behind it all. Known for her honesty, caring spirit, and straightforward nature, she was a woman who said what she meant and meant what she said. A devoted mother, loving wife, and cherished daughter. Tenille was especially close to her mother, Elaine, with whom she shared a deep, unbreakable bond. They were best friends and travel companions, exploring many places together and making memories that would last a lifetime.
Before illness slowed her down, Tennille made it a point to live fully, crossing items off her bucket list, including a dream trip to Hawaii. She was happiest outdoors, boating, fishing, hunting, and ice fishing. Included in her recreational activities were riding a four-wheeler with her favorite being quading and snowmobiling. Nature was her retreat, and Florida was her favorite place to be, where she could soak up sunshine and relax.
Tennille's strength, love, and honesty will never be forgotten. She gave all of herself to those she loved and built a life grounded in loyalty and hard work. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the family she loved, and the memories made along the way.
Tennille was a devoted and loving wife for 19 years to Timothy VanBuskirk; loving mother to Seth VanBuskirk; cherished daughter to Douglas MacLean Sr. and Elaine MacLean; dearest sister to Douglas MacLean Jr.; wonderful aunt to Victoria, Devon, Ryan, Sydney, Hailey, Ella, and Etty; adored sister-in-law to Richard (Valerie) VanBuskirk and Thomas (Rachel) VanBuskirk.
