Teri Ann Palmer (nee Bowman), 66 of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on February 22, 2024. Teri was born on June 17, 1957, to Donald and Barbara Bowman. She was the oldest of 3 and grew up in Detroit and attended Henry Ford High School.
In 1976 she met William (Billy) Palmer. They married in 1984 and had two daughters, Paige, and Courtney. They would have been celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary next month. Teri was a devoted mom and grandma. Her daughters and her grandchildren were her world. Being a grandma made her SO proud! She was so kind, helpful, and giving. She loved to buy gifts for other people. She was a great friend to many. She enjoyed cooking and was amazing at it. Her family will especially miss her famous stuffed cabbage. She was the best wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister and friend. Her absence will be felt immensely amongst so many people.
Teri was preceded in death by her father, Don Bowman, who passed just over 6 months prior, and her mom, Barbara Bowman who passed 2 days before Teri.
Teri is survived by her husband, Billy Palmer, and daughters Paige (Ryan) Martinek, and Courtney (Mike) Harris. She was a loving grandma / Peama to her grandkids, Nick, Will, Abel, Jack, Maisie, Cole, Ben, Autumn, Mila, and Millie. She is also survived by her brother Donnie (Becky) Bowman, her sister Pam (Paul) Antior, as well as her aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Teri and her mom, Barbara’s lives will be celebrated on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the Royal Oak Salvation Army 3015 N. Main St. Royal Oak, MI. Visitation will be at 2:00, followed by a service at 3:00.
