

Tom was a dedicated and hardworking man who took great pride in his many years of service with Equitable Engineering Company. His strong work ethic and commitment were evident throughout his career, and he valued the relationships he built along the way.
Outside of work, Tom found his greatest joy outdoors. He loved camping, fishing, and snowmobiling, and always looked forward to the adventures and memories those activities brought. Tom especially enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife Denise of 14 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Denise Butler; his son, Ryan (Erin) Butler; his cherished grandchildren, Tyler (Maddie) Butler and Jaidyn Butler; his siblings, Linda (Joe) Hollars and Ed Butler; sister-in-law Linda Stockinger; his godson, Andy; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rita; his brother, Jerry; and his late wife, Joyce.
Tom will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the deep love he had for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at St Rene Goupil Catholic Parish, 35955 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310, on August 4, 2026, from 9:00 am until the time of the Memorial Mass at 9:30 am. Luncheaon to follow.
