Immediately after High School, Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict (1951-1953) as a Corporal in E-Company, 23rd Regiment, 2nd Division. Bob worked as an electrician, and was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 58 for 67 years. As a Master electrician, Bob worked in many areas of Southeast Michigan, including the WXYZ tower, the Penobscot building, Zug Island and Willow Run. He was especially proud of being part of the skilled trades team that built the Trans-Alaskan Pipeline from 1974-1977. He was stationed at Pump Station 6 on the Yukon River.
Bob married the love of his life, Anne on June 23, 1956 and they shared three daughters. He was an avid golfer, enjoying many golf outings with his friends. In the evenings you would always find him checking his numbers for the Daily 3, Daily 4, Powerball and Mega Millions and enjoying the day’s scratch off tickets. A dedication he passed to his daughters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anne Adams; Daughters, June DeBoni, Janet (Robert) Pettycrew, & Joyce (Scott) Repasy; Grandchildren, Carly, Jake & Catherine; Great Grandchild, Charles; Nieces & Nephews, Alan, Bob, Kathy & Suzanne. Also survived by his favorite Grandpups, Bear & Chance.
