Andrea McCray Tomlin

Born on August 14, 1973, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Rachel L. Tomlin and the late James L. Tomlin Jr. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Susan Tomlin.

Vibrant and full of life, Andrea never met a stranger and certainly possessed the gift of gab. She had a great sense of humor and could always be counted on to make others laugh or enjoy a deep, philosophical discussion. She loved the color hot pink and collected and loved fairies since she was a little girl. She was adored by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her significant other of 30 years, Chris Clemmons; stepdaughter Carrie Pribble; sisters, Deborah McDaniel (George), Gretchen Croft (Steve), Pam Turner (Mark/Dennis), Michelle Marks (Robert); brothers, James Tomlin (Mardi) and Joseph Tomlin (Susan); and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Andrea's Life will be held on May 10, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at 2770 Elon Road, Monroe, VA 24574.
