Born in Rockbridge County on March 22, 1950 she was a daughter of the late Elmer Emory Slough and Clara Edith Slough.
In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by a daughter Angie and her siblings.
She is survived by her children, Wanda Wooldridge and husband Mike of Amherst and Irvin Sloan, Jr. and wife Christa of Natural Bridge; five grandchildren, Cory Smith, Amber Smith, Ashley Campbell and husband Joey, Michael Wooldridge, Jr. and Dustin Sloan; five great-grandchildren, Eddie, Jr., Katelyn, Aubree, Avery, and Addilyn.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
