Barry Wayne Hackett Jr.

Barry Wayne Hackett, Jr. went to be home with our Lord on June 1, 2021. Barry was born in Lynchburg on January 31, 1980, loving son of Barry Hackett, Sr. and Debbie Hackett. Barry spent a lot of time enjoying the company of his family and friends. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Barry cared more for experiences than possessions. He enjoyed working on cars with his father, talking with his mother, and hanging out with his sister and brother. He was a light that made everyone’s life brighter. Barry Jr. is survived by his loving parents, Barry Sr. and Debbie Hackett; sister, Lisa (Christian Stadler) Hackett; brother, Johnny (Casey) Hackett; 3 nieces: Madeline, Olivia, Stella, and nephew, Benson. Family and friends are welcome to pay respects on Sunday June 6th from 5 – 7 pm at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday June 7, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel, followed by a graveside service at Meade Cemetery. Fly High B
