Blanche Ann Humphreys, age 64 of Madison Heights, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019.

She was born in Amherst on October 15, 1954, daughter of the late Charlie and Gertie Humphreys. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son, Kenneth "little Kenny" Ralph Winnagle (born/died October 1977), 3 brothers, Lawrence Humphreys, Haywood Humphreys, and Walter Humphreys and 4 sisters, Mary Henson, Peggy Whittaker, Maxine Ware and Doris Humphreys.

Ann’s family was her life. She loved cooking for them and spending time with them, and Ann never met a stranger.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Gertie Ann Coley and husband Keith, Kathy Jean Andrews and wife Pamela, and Samantha Lee Humphreys; 1 brother, Harry Humphreys and wife Kitty; 6 grandchildren, Russell Coley and wife Melanie, Travis Coley and wife Katie, Brett Hansen, Landon Hansen, Logan Hansen, and Keeleigh Dickerson; 2 great grandchildren, Johnathan Coley and Parker Coley. She is also survived by her fiancé, Kenneth L. Miller as well as many nieces, nephews, and close family friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Dave Cash officiating. Burial will follow at Amherst cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 – 8 pm on Monday, February 4, 2019.

I can remember the first time I mat Ann she was a new teenage that day she was dying her hair an it came out jet black she was getting ready for a date that night she was screaming an crying she was saying over an over MY HAR!!!!MY HAR!!!!that was the first time i heard hair said that way I can remember laughing at her on the inside i was trying not to bust out but the way she said har was just so funny to me i May have been about ten years old to this day i still can hear her screaming MY HAR!!!!an now when i think about hair a smile cover's my face and a screaming laugh even right now I am about to die laughing to the point of tears its hard to type when you're eyes are sokeing wet from a good memory.Ann only you can pronounce HAR!!!!the correct way
