He was born on June 6, 1969 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Brian attended Randolph Memorial Baptist Church and was a truck driver for Triple S Steel. He had attended Buckingham County High School and he enjoyed clock making, wood working and gardening, but his biggest joy was his wife Donna and spending time with his friends, family and especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Shumaker.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Donna Shumaker; his mother, Margaret Vance and husband Fred; daughters, Jessica Myers and husband Dan and Laura Shumaker; bonus daughter, Kimberly Farmer; bonus son, Jacob Farmer; grandchildren, Emily, Dawson and Faith; four brothers in law; one sister in law as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Randolph Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Derik Hamby officiating. Burial will be private.
