Carl Wayne Tyree

Born July 31, 1961, in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Massie Wright Tyree, and is survived by his father, Carl Coleman Tyree and his wife Dottie. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas L. Sale. Mr. Tyree was the former co-owner of Carl's Home Improvement.

Survivors also include five children, Mary Anne Tyree, Heather D. Frye, Christopher Knowles, Robert W. Tyree and wife Jessica, and Kathreen J. Tyree; siblings, Cheyenne S. Odegaard, Patricia S. Collins and husband Terry, L. Charles Sale and wife Sharon, Sidney F. Sale, Deborah T. Gunter, Roxanne T. Lawhorne and husband Matt King, Brandie M. Hager, Carl C. Tyree Jr., Jonathan E. Tyree, and Kirk S. Tyree, 11 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends tonight, June 8, 2011, from 7to 8:30 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2011, at Wright's Family Cemetery, by the Rev. George Harris.
