Carol Anita Bellerose

Born on August 7, 1953, in Lynn, Massachusetts, Carol was the daughter of the late Jerry Armand Bellerose and Rita Rose Williams. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Donna Hornsby and James R. Williams.

Carol was a loving and creative woman who found happiness in the simple things in life. She taught herself to play the guitar and enjoyed many things that allowed her creativity to shine, including arts and crafts, baking, cooking, making desserts, painting figurines, and diamond art.

She had a special love for children, especially babies, and had a caring heart for those around her. Carol was also known for her sense of humor and her determination. One of her favorite sayings was, “It ain’t broke until she can’t fix it,” which was a perfect reflection of her independent spirit and her belief that there was always a way to make things work.

More than anything, Carol loved her daughter, Angel Goff. She loved Angel with all her heart, and their bond was one of the most important and cherished parts of her life.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Angel Goff; three siblings, Susan Burrows, John D. (Ricky Williams), and Timothy M. Williams; uncles, Robert Pelchat and Sonny McCabe; her longtime friend, Joan Bates; and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts.

The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank-you to the Centra PACE nurses, Candy and Blair, for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Carol. Their loving care meant so much to Carol and her family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Alan Cousins officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Briarwood Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in Carol’s memory.
