

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, March 15, 1945 he was the son of the late Dennis E. Conniff, Jr. and Mildred Jacobs Conniff. Charles proudly served his country in the US Army during the Viet Nam war. He was retired from Glad Manufacturing. For those that know Charles knew of his love of trains. His passion involved photography, modeling and collecting memorabilia.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Dana Davis of Yorktown; two step-sons, Jarrod Mitchell of Big Stone Gap and Randall Mitchell of Morristown, TN; one brother, Dennis Conniff and his wife Rachael of Nashville, TN; his uncle, Jack Conniff of Raleigh, NC; aunt, June Marshall; eight grandchildren and several Aunts, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Briarwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Derik Hamby officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 16.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Whitten Monelison Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
