Born November 14, 1924 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Clarence and Pearl Cleveland Skinnell Compton and was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Mrs. Huffman was a retired Charge Aid with Central Virginia Training Center. She was a member of the Salvation Army.
Mrs. Huffman is survived by her daughter, Deborah Irby of Madison Heights; her son, Robert Wayne Huffman and wife Barbara of Rocky Mount, VA; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Wayne Wade officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
