Dawn Marie Rose

Dawn Marie Rose, 41, of Madison Heights, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014. She was the wife of Vincent Wade Rose, Sr. Born September 24, 1973, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Linda Haas Rodgers.

Dawn was a manager at Macy’s Department Store. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, granddaughter, daughter-in-law and sister-in-law.

Dawn was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Kenneth Ray Rose.

In addition to her husband and mother, Dawn is survived by two sons, Vincent Wade Rose, Jr. of Madison Heights and Antonio Lytell Rose of Madison Heights; one brother, Christopher Shane Rodgers and his fiancée Gabrielle West of Concord; grandmother, Joyce Haas of Tennessee; two nephews, Cai Shane Rodgers and Cornelius James Rodgers; father and mother-in-law, Roosevelt and Ernestine Rose of Amherst; sisters-in-law, Deborah Ann Rose of Madison Heights, Juliet Tinsley and her husband Daryl of Richmond and Wanda Moorman and her husband Francis of Madison Heights; brother-in-law, Tony Rose of Madison Heights; a close friend of the family, Annie Sprouse; and a host of nieces, nephews and other close friends.

The family will receive friends, 5-7 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2014, at Whitten Monelison Chapel and at other times at the residence of Linda Haas Rodgers.

Inurnment will take place at a later date.
