Delilah Gale Martin

Delilah was united in marriage to Jeffrey Allen Martin on November 9, 1979. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife, Momma, and "Honee" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She enjoyed doing anything as long as it was done with her family. These included: cookouts, shopping, beach vacations, camping, cruising, and just hanging out at home watching some crime show or her favorite movie " Secretariat".

Living family include her husband of 46 years, Jeff; children: Amy (Del) Lynchburg, VA; Christy (Tony) Madison Heights, VA; Cassie (Roger) Madison Heights, VA; grandchildren: Micheal "Scooter" (Lindsay); Hunter "Peanut"; Katelyn "Bug"; Tyler "T"; Savannah "Vannie"; Caylin; Jonathan (Lisa); Jessica (Robert); great grandchildren: Annalise, Christian, Delana, Haiven, Sienna; siblings: Pastor David Cook (Angela); Pastor Clifford Kuhn (Lisa).

Delilah is welcomed into heaven by her parents Udell and Este Cook, her grandson "Roscoe", and her baby dogs: Roxanne, Rufus, Gizmo and Zimmie.

There will be a graveside celebration of Delilah’s life and love on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Amherst Cemetery officiated by Pastor David Cook. The family will be hosting a luncheon at Whitten Monelison Chapel following the service.
