Dennie, your death shattered our world. Our prayers are with your family, your daughter. We were so proud to know you in the last 2 years. You were so caring, compassionate, polite. You were truly a Southern Gentleman, always using "sir" and "Ma'am" during conversations. Please accept our sincere appreciation for serving our country. We miss your smile, your kind words. RIP Dennie. Love.. Wayne & Hanh

Dennie, My friend, My Brother, we talked briefly last friday and quoted the 133 Psalms as brothers should. you are the strength I never had, the support i will always need, the heart that will always beat, the love that all men should give to those less fortunate. Thank You for being a part of my life and taking the time to share your life with me. Big John

Lauren, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We want you to know how much we thought of your Dad. He was always so kind and a true gentleman. He gave so much to this community as a person and as a Deputy. I met him when he worked with my son and he was in my home often during those years. He loved his family and spoke of you each time I would see him. He loved this community and protected it and served it well. He also loved his country and served it well, giving up his years away from you and his family to protect this nation. I will always remember his smile, his care and love he gave all of us. May God care for you during this difficult time. Sandra and Charlie Moss (Madison Heights, Va)

Lauren, although we did not know your Mom and Dad, we know that they were AWESOME parents because they raised such a kind, sweet, and beautiful daughter (with a great sense of humor). Val is so blessed to have a best friend like you. You are in our thoughts and prayers and you know our home is your home too. Our door is always open to you and Jim. We love you and are here for you. We also truly appreciate your Dad's service for our country.
