Donald D. Adcock

Papa," 57, of 221 Daniel Ridge Ln., Roxboro, NC, died Tuesday, December 9,

2014. Born in Amherst Co., VA, Mr. Adcock was the son of the late Robert Lee

and Molly Johns Adcock. Mr. Adcock was a carpenter and a member of the

Monacan Indian Tribe. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert "Bob"

Adcock, of MD.

A memorial service will be held 2PM, Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Brooks

& White Chapel by the Rev. John Pritchard. The family will receive friends

following the service. A second memorial service will be held 1PM Sunday,

December 14, 2014, at Whitten Funeral Home Monelison Chapel.

Mr. Adcock is survived by his wife, Diane Herndon Adcock; two children,

Stephanie Adcock, of Madison Heights, VA and Jayson Adcock and wife Crystal,

of Rustburg, VA; one step-daughter, Meredith Jeffries, of Roxboro, NC; six

brothers, Jack Adcock, of Rustburg, VA, Dallas Adcock and Jimmy Wayne

Adcock, both of Monroe, VA, his twin brother, Ronald Adcock and Dale Adcock,

both of Lynchburg, VA and Carlton "Tiger" Adcock, of Amherst, VA; five

sisters, Minnie Pearl Myers, of Columbia, MD, Myrtle Terry, of Evington, VA,

Lorraine Beach and Susan Staton, both of Lynchburg and Cindy Floyd, of

Madison Heights, VA; four grandchildren, Colby Hudson, Dylan Dabbs, Destiny

Adcock and Jackson Adcock.
