Born October 11, 1948 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Walter Dudley Lawrence and Mabel Siddons Lawrence and was also preceded in death by a brother, David Lawrence. Mrs. Witt was retired from R.S.T. Marketing and was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Madison Heights.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Tamara Parker and husband James of Lynchburg and Rebecca Talbot and husband John of Forest; two sons, Paul Witt and fiancée Amy Sparrow of Appomattox and Jonathan Witt and wife Jennifer of Madison Heights; one brother, Joe Lawrence and wife Lillian of Lynchburg; a sister-in-law, Martha Lawrence and numerous beloved grandchildren.
A funeral service to celebrate Mrs. Witt’s life, will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. (noon), Friday, December 10, 2021 at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Esterline officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends, at the church, for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
