Edward Robertson

Born December 18, 1925 in Fairfax, he was a U.S. Army WWII veteran and received two purple hearts, a bronze star, and numerous awards. He retired from Kennedy’s Tile as a mason, after many years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy A. Robertson; one son, Ronald E. Robertson, and two brothers.

He is survived by two sons, Jerry R. Robertson, and Mike Robertson, and his wife Sandra, all of Madison Heights; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, four brothers, and three sisters.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011, at Whitten Monelison Chapel, and at other times at the residence, 2322 Elon Road.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. January 24, 2011, at Robertson Family Cemetery, by the Rev. W.A. Mills Jr. .
