Elaine was born on January 5, 1955 in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. She was the daughter of Albert and Emily Kerslake. She had worked in music sales with Handleman. Elaine loved spending time with her daughter planting flowers and working in her flower garden. She also enjoyed just being outdoors, listening to music, and working on crafts. Elaine was a member of Elon Presbyterian Church.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Emily Couch; sister, Lynn Greskevitch; brothers, Thomas Kerslake who was Elaine’s twin brother and Lance Kerslake and wife Susan; nieces, Angela Peterson and Kayla Kerslake; great nephew, Kyle Peterson; and special “adopted” daughter, Kirstin Herman.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Elon Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Barry Tucker officiating.
