Eleanor Gottschall Bryant

Born September 4, 1937 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late David and Selma G. Gottschall and was also preceded in death by a sister, Lucy G. Tyree.

Eleanor retired from C&P Telephone Company after thirty years of service and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church but the love of her life was being with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Alfred D. Bryant and wife Tammy of Monroe and Brandon Bryant and wife Krista of Madison Heights and four grandchildren, Landon, Jarred, Sierra, and Sydney Bryant.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 24, 2014, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Peyton Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow at Briarwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., today, February 23, 2014, at the funeral home.
