Ellen Pillow Jordan

Born December 21, 1931 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late Martin Gilbert Pillow and the late Marion Lucille Carey Pillow and was also preceded in death by one sister, Kathleen Foster and four brothers, Harry, Hugh, Ewell, and Carey Pillow. She was a retired cafeteria manager with the Amherst County School System.

Mrs. Jordan is survived by her son, Bruce Jordan and wife Debbie of Amherst; her daughter, Joan Mays and husband Randy of Madison Heights; two sisters, Margaret McFaden and husband Owen and Rachel Davis, all of Brookneal and one grandson, Andy Jordan of Amherst.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Meade Cemetery in Madison Heights with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
