Obituary of Ethelene Tolley Puckett
Ethelene Tolley Puckett, 90, a lifelong resident of Madison Heights, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Liberty Ridge. She was the wife of the late William Lacy Puckett. Born in Madison Heights, November 27, 1928, she was the daughter of the late William Tolley and Maggie Lee Witt Tolley. She was retired from Flowers Bakery after 45 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicky Lee Puckett Martin; her son, William Puckett and one sister, Helen Pucket. She is survived by five grandchildren, Lani M. Patrick and her husband Kenny; Tony Martin and his wife Jeannette, Crystal Monark, William Shifflett and his wife Helen and Tammy Martin Toren and her husband Dave; 10 great grandchildren, Keaton, Kali, Holland, Tristan, Jayden, Madison, Sydney, Chandler, Skylar and Carter; one sister, Hazel Puckett and her son-in-law, Billy Martin. A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2019 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Rick Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
