Frederick Anthony Mohler

Born January 12, 1930, in Lowesville, he was the son of the late Samuel Edward and Susan Wood Mohler. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Mohler, Reva Johnson, and Aleen Webb.

Mr. Mohler was a United States Army veteran having served in Korea. He was retired from Rock-Tenn Co., after 37 years of service. He was a member of Piney River Baptist Church, a member of the Moose Lodge in Lynchburg, and of the Bluegrass Music Association.

Survivors include a son, Lenwood A. Mohler, of Madison Heights; a sister, Christophine Mohler, of Lynchburg; a grandson, Lenwood D. Mohler, of Madison Heights; and two great-grandchildren, Layla and Mikayla, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 5, 2011, from 11-12:00 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
