Gail Hudnall Lewis

Born January 31, 1935 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Loria Banton Hudnall. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Mrs Lewis was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Dawn L. Smith and husband, Robert of Roanoke; one sister, Virginia Dalton and husband, Charles of Madison Heights; three grandchildren, Trey, Brad, and Tes and a sister-in-law, Genevieve Hudnall of Madison Heights.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor J.D. Surbaugh, Jr. officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lynchburg Area Food bank, 2029 Fort Ave., Lynchburg, VA, 24501.
