

Born on September 24, 1965 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Catherine Ann Mosteller of Lynchburg VA and the late George David Mosteller, Sr.
1SG Mosteller served our country in the United States Army for 24 years.
In addition to his mother, 1SG Mosteller is survived by his children, David Gene Mosteller of Rustburg, VA, Jamie Owen Mosteller and wife Martha Esmeralda of San Diego CA, Pete Evan Mosteller of Salem VA, and Madeline Grace Ratkowski-Mosteller of Charlottesville VA; one grandchild Adriel Isaiah Mosteller, son of Jamie and Martha Mosteller; two brothers, Dean Edward Mosteller of Blue Ridge VA, and Daryl Lee Mosteller and wife Kathryn Sale of Amherst; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday December 9, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Whitten Monelison Chapel, 3966 S Amherst HWY Madison Heights VA 24572.
A funeral service will be held December 10, 2015 at 1 pm located at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A pallbearer and rifle team from the United States Army Honor Guard will present honors.
Friends and Family are invited to the Monroe Ruritan Club (115 Bruner Rd Monroe VA 24574) after graveside service to celebrate the life of 1SG Mosteller.
