She was born on October 22, 1960 in Hampton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Shirley Tolley as well as a brother, Lee Tolley.
Gloria loved to cook, play bingo, and play her numbers on the lottery daily.
She is survived by her two sons, James “Jim” Melton, III and his wife Chelsea and Joshua Melton and his wife Margaret; five brothers and sisters, Billy Tolley and his wife Angie, Kathy Wells and her husband Johnny, Cheryl Drouin and her husband Glenn, Linda Evans and her husband Kenny, and Becky Wolfe as well as six grandchildren, Makayla Beazley, Katlyn Melton, James Melton, IV, Nevaeh Melton, Kaylee Melton, and Autumn Melton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with burial to follow at Big Island Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am – 12:15 pm on Tuesday, prior to the funeral.
