A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Clifford Baptist Church in Amherst with the Rev. Dr. Michael Fitzgerald, the Rev. Clyde Mawyer, and the Rev. Jeffery Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Amherst Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2011 at Clifford Baptist Church and other times at the residence.
The family would like to thank all our friends and our brothers and sisters, in Christ, for all their prayers, cards, visits, phone calls, love, and support during Guy’s battle with cancer. We would also like to thank all the staff at Lynchburg Hematology-Oncology and especially Dr. Cecilia M. MacCallum, MD, who is well loved.
