Hailey was sunshine in human form. She was the kind of love and kindness this world needs so much more of. She had an unforgettable laugh, a beauty that was undeniable, and a goofy, funny spirit that made every room brighter the moment she walked into it. A star athlete, she was fierce and full of fire in everything she competed in, and she carried that same passion into everyday life. She was charismatic, magnetic, the kind of person people gravitated toward without even knowing why, you just know you wanted to be around her.
But more than anything, being an aunt was Hailey’s proudest accomplishment. She loved her nieces and nephews with her whole soul, and her nephew Waylon “Wodie” Foutty was her whole heart. She showed up for her family and loved ones fiercely and completely, showing them every day what it looks like to be loved without condition. A die-hard Alabama fan and devoted Dallas Cowboys supporter, she brought the same passion to game day that she brought to everything and everyone she loved.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Lewis and Dump Tomlin, and Bessie Tomlin.
Those left to cherish Hailey's memory include her mama, Michelle Foutty, as well as her “Step Dad”, Buzzy Wheeler; her father and stepmother, Robert “Bobby” Sr. and Tina Foutty; her brother, Bo Foutty (Connie); her siblings, Jessica “Sissy” Garrison, Megan “Princess” Bryant (Landon), Jessie Burks (Danny) Kimberly Carter (Chris), Justis Wright, and Ashley Spilker (Cody); her maternal grandparents, Lynn “E” Conner, Marion “Boss Hog” Tomlin, and Mildred Wheeler; her paternal grandparents, Oren “Pop” and Odell “Mamaw” Foutty and Peggy Dana; her nephews, Waylon “Wodie” Foutty, Coy Burks, Cole “Tootles” Lawson, Devyn Viar, Daymari Davis, Brayden Viar, and Layton “Fatty” Bryant; her nieces, Jayla Garrison, Tegan Burks, Ellie Bryant, Isabella Doss, and Kambrie Cardwell; her nephews Elijah Doss, Rylen Spilker, Micah Carter, and Bodie Cardwell; her bonus daughter, Ada Miller; her best friends, Miranda Hughes Luczka (Georgia, Danny, and her “Squish”) Brittany Niemeyer, and Jeff Knight; and best friends that have became family beyond measure, too many to name; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who will forever cherish her memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Waylon “Wodie” College Fund.
