Harry  it broke my heart to learn of you leaving this old world for your heavenly home  I know you are having a wonderful time  seeing your Mon & your kin  again .I didn’t learn of your  
passing until  two days after your funeral but I want you to know I would have shown my respect to you  & our friendship  by attending your services I am so thankful I did see you about 2 weeks before you  passed  & we had a great time catching up! I will not say goodby but I will say see you later -





Mr Harry was the best side kick a man could ask for.  Over the last 10 years our relationship grew from neighbors, to family, to best friends.  I know this is a hard time for anyone who knew him, but Mr Harry wouldn't want us to be sad.  He'd want us to feed the birds and squirrels, to have a cold Dr Pepper with a few vanilla Oreos, or to go for a nice long walk speaking to any neighbors along the way.  Most importantly though he would want us to be sure we know the mighty God he serves so that this isn't "Good bye." but "Till we meet again!.  

I guess it was about three weeks ago on a random Goodwill outing I saw it.  The radio of all radios and the first thing I thought of after seeing it was Mr Harry.  I don't think I've ever seen one with my own eyes in person like this before.  It did everything. . .  There was a record player up top, followed by a digital tuner with alarm I believe, then there was a CD player in there, along with a cassette deck on the side complete with remote and AUX input.  I snagged it up and ran to find my bride knowing that his birthday was just around the corner.  Before we even got to the car my wife suggested we take it on to him then.  She said you should never wait to give someone a present that you find like that.  So off to Mr Harry's we went.  My bride said it was a little early and before she got finished good Harry just kind of grinned and said "Yep but I might not be here for my birthday."  So as I sit here this evening after having one of the best cookie dough icing birthday cakes I have ever tasted I wish we had stopped by and made the cake early too because you really would have liked it this year.  Happy first Heavenly birthday Stranger.  We love you.

We at First Baptist Church of Monroe loved Harry.  A few ladies & I from the church would visit Harry occasionally.  He was a kind man. He was also resilient. Even though he had physical difficulties, he pressed on. We were very sorry to hear of his passing. He is no longer struggling or in pain. We are happy he is with the Lord, surrounded by His Love.  Albert, you were so faithful to Harry. You took good care of Harry. We are so sorry for your loss. We are here for you if we can be helpful in any way. Our prayers are with you.

Everyone in our neighborhood knew and loved Harry. He was genuine, a great person and a wonderful neighbor. Albert took such great care of him, coming over every day to check on him and see that Harry had whatever he needed. Chris and I will miss you, Harry. I'm glad we were friends.

Albert, we are so sorry to hear of Harry Lee’s passing. I will miss seeing him sitting on his front porch when I visit Mom. Praying for your comfort and strength during this time.

Albert, I am so sorry for your loss.  Harry was a dear person and you took real good care of him.  I'm so glad his struggles are over and he is safe, whole and pain free in the arms of our Lord and Savior.

He was such a special person. We all loved Harry.  Sending our love and prayers to you Albert, and the rest of the family and friends left behind. 

Harry was a sweet soul.  His mother, Betty, god rest her soul, sure raised both him and his brother, Al, with all the love a mother could give. I know she was right there with arms wide open to welcome her son home.

I’m so sorry I will miss Harry. He loved to share everything he had. He was always smiling , loved those old records and Dr Pepper.  Albert my heart goes out to you . You did so much for Harry. I always enjoyed working with him and listening to all his stories. Prayers for his family in this difficult time

I am so sorry to hear this.   I saw Harry many times on home health.  Loved my visits with him and  I will hold my memories close to my heart of all of our walks we took together.    Albert...my thoughts and prayers are with you.
