Helen Trent Johnson

Born on February 28, 1925 in Appomattox County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Faulkner Trent and Rosa Milo Eller Trent.

Helen was retired from Blue Buckle and a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church. She also enjoyed collecting dolls, sewing, skating, and dancing.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Kathleen Tweedy, Glenola Trent, Myrtis Harding, Lee Trent, and Charles Trent.

Helen is survived by her son, Dennis Johnson; sisters, Rosa Tweedy and Jean D. Childress; brother, Clayton Trent and wife Shelby Carson; special friend, Ada Young; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Madison Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Blake officiating. Interment will follow at Virginia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at noon.
