

Henry (Buck) Loving Litchford, II, 67, of Madison Heights, passed away, Friday, May 13, 2016 from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was the husband of the late Linda Cash White Litchford.
Born, July 6, 1948 in Gladstone, he was the son of Carrol Dawson Litchford Bowen and the late James Lloyd Litchford. Mr. Litchford was a retired diesel engine mechanic for Huss Incorporated, where he served for 25 years and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
In addition to his father, Mr. Litchford was preceded in death by three children, Tammy White, Tina Litchford and Henry (B.J.) Litchford, III; and one brother, Michael Litchford.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Brian Litchford (Shannon Chapman) of Lynchburg and James D. White (Lisa) of Madison Heights; his special friend who he loved dearly, Michelle Lawrence; nine siblings, Jean Stinnett, Linda McFadden (Emmett), Ann Tyree, Jimmy Litchford (Betty), Diane Litchford, Sandra Childress (Everett), Penny Henry, Mitch Litchford (Roxanne) and Wanda Fowler; ten grandchildren, Tyler Litchford, Austin Litchford, Cayden Litchford, Gracelynn White, Alex Chapman, Madisen Chapman, Leyton Chapman, Caleb Chapman, Carter Chapman and Lukas Chapman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. Interment with military honors by American Legion Post 16 will follow at Meade Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 16, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
