Henry Dean Crowder, 74, of Madison Heights passed away Friday, February 15, 2019, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Mary Boso Crowder. Born October 29 1944, in Bedford, he was the son of the late Mack Henry Crowder, Jr. and the late Nelia Overstreet Crowder.
Henry was a retired construction worker for W.I. Wes Crowder Construction Company and worked prior for L.G. Flint Construction Company. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by one brother, Nolan Crowder.
In addition to his wife, Henry is survived by one brother, Wes Crowder and his wife Pat of Bedford; one sister-in-law, Sharon Crowder of Concord; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 18, 2019, at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor J.D. Surbaugh officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
